Job summary

AirPro Fan & Blower Company, Rhinelander, WI, is seeking a Senior Quality Technician to perform and support day-to-day quality inspection and control activities for industrial fans and blowers. You will work with Production, Engineering, Design, Drafting, Purchasing, and Shipping to ensure conformance to drawings, specs, and customer requirements.

The role requires 3–5+ years in manufacturing quality, strong measurement tool skills, and ISO 9001 understanding.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in manufacturing quality or inspection.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, tolerances and weld symbols.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
• Experience with nonconformance, corrective actions and root-cause analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills.
• Welding, coating inspection, calibration/metrology, Lean/Six Sigma or ISO 9001 internal auditor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary resource for day-to-day inspection and product quality.
• Independently prioritize inspection activities based on production and shipment needs.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOMs, tolerances and weld symbols.
• Inspect components and assemblies for dimensional and workmanship requirements.
• Review test results for acceptance criteria.
• Assist with audits and corrective-action follow-up.
• Escalate significant quality concerns to the Quality & Safety Manager.
• Support supplier quality issues and communicate findings.
• Maintain quality documentation for traceability and ISO 9001 compliance.
