Job summary

Clarkson Construction Company seeks a Senior Quality Technician to ensure materials and construction meet MoDOT/KDOT specs through field and lab testing of concrete, aggregates, soils, and cement-treated base. You will mentor technicians and support Quality Control Managers in implementing the quality program on active sites.

Qualifications

• MoDOT and KDOT testing knowledge required.
• Experience with field inspections and quality testing.
• Proficiency in test data interpretation and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead field inspections and materials testing per MoDOT/KDOT and ASTM/AASHTO.
• Inspect rebar placement, formwork, subgrade, and material delivery for compliance.
• Conduct field moisture/density tests and plastic concrete testing.
• Review data, identify deviations, and recommend corrections.
• Train and mentor Quality Technicians in test procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and client reps to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain and verify testing equipment and submit results.
