Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Quality Technician in Horsham, PA to perform detailed inspections and support first article and setup approvals. You will read engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to determine inspection criteria and ensure products meet defined quality standards.

The role requires 4+ years in manufacturing, hands-on measurement with micrometers/calipers, and expertise in SPC and nonconformance reporting.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with quality control activities in a production setting.

  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and its application to inspection.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on inspection results, process capability, and quality trends.
  • Assist in calibration activities by using calibrated measurement tools correctly and reporting any issues with equipment accuracy.
  • Coach and lead other quality technicians by sharing expertise, providing guidance on inspection methods, and promoting best practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
