Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp in Lincoln, Missouri seeks an Industrial Manufacturing Quality Specialist to support quality systems, drive improvement, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and EHS. You will investigate issues, implement CAPA, and promote a culture of quality across the facility.

You will analyze KPIs, participate in audits, and assist with supplier quality while contributing to reduction of defects and improved process capability.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a quality-focused role within manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Industrial Manufacturing Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining quality systems that ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements. This role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and customers to drive continuous improvement, investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of quality throughout the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing processes and product quality to ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and evaluations of products, materials, processes, and documentation to verify conformance to established quality standards.
• Investigate quality concerns, non-conformances, customer complaints, and process deviations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving quality management systems, procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
• Analyze quality performance data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Support internal, customer, and third-party audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve process capability, product consistency, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in new product introductions, process changes, and validation activities to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, corrective action documentation, and regulatory compliance records.
• Assist with supplier quality activities, including supplier evaluations, corrective actions, and incoming material quality concerns.
• Develop and deliver quality-related training to employees to reinforce quality expectations and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and other problem-solving methodologies.
• Prepare and present quality metrics, reports, and recommendations to leadership teams.
• Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of quality systems, quality assurance principles, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret specifications, technical drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ERP, quality management, or document control systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or other quality management systems preferred.

• Quality certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT), Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
• Experience in ISO audit preparation and compliance.
• Experience within industrial manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting customer audits and regulatory inspections.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), process capability analysis, and quality data reporting tools.

Travel Requirements

• Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required for supplier visits, customer meetings, training, audits, or support of additional company locations.
