Meso Scale Diagnostics, LLC in Rockville, MD is seeking a Senior Quality Scientist to independently manage testing priorities, design of experiments for troubleshooting and trending product performance, technical transfer, mentoring and training analysts on troubleshooting techniques and experimental design, and approving disposition status for materials under investigation.

This role may include responsibilities for product release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field required.
• PhD preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in reagent, product or assay development in industry preferred.
• BSL-2 techniques training/experience highly preferred.
• Experience with ISO/GMP quality systems preferred.
• Proven leadership of small teams and capable management style.
• Ability to learn new techniques and methods.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot non-conforming products and manage high-impact projects.
• Direct testing, analyze data, and approve results.
• Approve CAPA documents (NCMRs, DEVs) and MRB outcomes.
• Lead MRB meetings and present to management.
• Develop and implement SOPs and test records.
• Coach and develop team members.
