Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Advanced Quality Engineer - Fall Protection to lead quality activities for fall-protection products.

You will partner with NPD, product support and value engineering to meet time-to-market, cost and performance goals in a highly regulated space. Expect to translate regulatory requirements into robust product specs, lead risk assessments, and drive design for manufacturability with cross-functional teams across global sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Industrial/Materials Eng or related field.
• 2 years (MS) or 5 years (BS) of relevant experience in quality/regulatory work.
• Experience with textiles, foams, rubber, films, or related flexible materials.
• Manufacturing quality experience in regulated product fields.
• Proficient with GD&T, SPC, DOE, FMEA, and risk analysis.
• Experience with Minitab or similar statistical tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct quality activities to meet project objectives.
• Translate customer needs and regulatory requirements into product specs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI/ASSP, and EN standards.
• Support design with benchmarking and testing of concepts and prototypes.
• Develop risk-based test procedures and validate specifications.
• Lead Design and Manufacturing risk assessments.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with global teams to support product launches.
