Job summary

Abbott Park, IL-based Quality Program Manager leads inspection readiness and quality systems across sites, partnering with operations to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. You will shape strategy, coordinate cross-functional teams, and steer complex inspections.

We expect 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong project management, and deep knowledge of QA/compliance in manufacturing or analytical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience.
• Managerial/supervisory experience.
• Quality Assurance and/or Compliance and/or Analytical Laboratories and/or Manufacturing and/or Operations.
• Project Management.
• Auditing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for Abbott-wide Inspection Readiness Program.
• Act as a strategic partner for ensuring that our locations are effective in the full life cycle of a third party inspection (preparation, execution, and response).
• Provide direction and consultation for third-party inspections including identification and review of issues, facilitating inspections, liaison training, and promoting effective inspection facilitation.
• Assess and provide feedback regarding compliance status and quality systems effectiveness.
• Provide scheduling and detailed project tasks for assigned sub-teams to ensure milestones are implemented.
• Review and support risk-based solutions to key topics and compliance.
• Maintain a strategic focus on emerging regulations and their impact on Abbott.
