Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure in Wendell, NC seeks a Senior Manager, Quality Operations & Product Test to own five quality gates across incoming materials, end-of-line testing, and FAT for complex electrical and electromechanical products. This on-site leader will build four technical teams and establish a scalable operating model from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in manufacturing quality, testing, inspection or related operations.
• 4+ years of direct people leadership of supervisors and teams.
• Experience with inbound inspection, end-of-line testing, and product release.
• History of building/improving teams, processes, and KPIs.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, tests, and customer specs.
• Experience using data to drive corrective action and risk reduction.
• On-site work in Wendell, NC with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the incoming goods inspection function with defined scope and criteria.
• Oversee end-of-line testing for MV breakers, LV MCCs, and protection panels.
• Drive FAT program readiness, documentation, and release decisions.
• Establish four operating teams with staffing, training, and KPI accountability.
• Partner with Quality, Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Develop scalable operating systems and data routines for performance tracking.
• Ensure safety, compliance, calibration, and record retention throughout.
