Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Quality Manager for its Power Constructors district in Lenexa, KS. This role leads quality initiatives across major power projects, driving compliance, reducing rework, and improving efficiency.

You will develop and implement quality programs, standardize best practices, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across projects, engaging with engineering, safety, and field leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in construction/engineering/business/ops or related field.
• 5-10+ years in power/industrial construction or similar environments.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Experience with Primavera P6, Procore, Power BI or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and lead data-driven quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality strategies, programs, and standards across power construction projects.
• Promote quality excellence to improve project performance and consistency.
• Conduct field audits, inspections, and process reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain quality procedures, standard work, and project documentation.
• Analyze quality metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to prevent issues.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Develop quality dashboards and KPI tracking for leadership review.
