Job summary

Filtran is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee all quality assurance and control activities, maintaining ISO/TS certification for quality and environmental systems. You will supervise quality processes, collaborate with multiple departments, and drive improvements in productivity and cost of quality.

The role requires extensive experience in automotive quality, PPAP, and problem-solving methodologies, with a focus on reducing defects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing management.
• Experience with automotive Tier I suppliers and knowledge of QS 9000/ISO/TS standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and control activities, including ISO/TS certification for quality and environmental systems.
• Develop monthly quality metric dashboards and monitor KPI performance.
• Oversee PPAP, SPC, gage design, and gage studies across production.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement and cost reductions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and reduce plant accidents.
