Compu Dynamics Modular (CDM) seeks a Quality Manager to build, implement, and maintain the QMS, ensuring products, processes, suppliers, and field activities meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements. Compu Dynamics Modular (CDM) is at the forefront of innovative modular solutions, specializing in Modular Data Centers (MDC), metal frame systems, and fully integrated enclosures. Our designs are scalable, efficient, and sustainable, tailored to meet the evolving needs of our clients in a dynamic industry.
The Quality Manager builds, implements, and maintains CDM's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring products, processes, suppliers, and field activities consistently meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements. This is a hands-on role spanning the fabrication floor, supplier audits, engineering design reviews, and field issues with hyperscale customers — less a traditional inspection manager and more a Quality Systems and Operational Excellence leader who can scale quality processes as CDM grows. The role is the primary quality leader across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Field Services, and Customer Support, reporting directly to the VP/GM and operating independently from Manufacturing and Supply Chain to preserve objective quality oversight.
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Partner with Engineering to ensure designs are manufacturable, inspectable, and supportable.
Partner with Supply Chain to ensure supplier performance and material quality.
Develop and manage receiving inspection processes.
Support manufacturing operations while maintaining independent quality oversight.
Develop acceptance processes for completed modules.
Serve as quality liaison for field issues and customer concerns.
No direct supervisory responsibility initially, but leads cross-functional program teams in a matrixed environment — influencing, coordinating, and holding accountable team members across engineering, manufacturing, and field operations without direct reporting authority.
This role spans the office, the manufacturing facility, and active customer sites, with regular time on the factory floor and at customer data center locations. Standard office equipment supports documentation, communication, and planning; expect some exposure to industrial environments, loud equipment, and temperature-controlled spaces.
Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands and arms to handle documents and equipment. Factory floor and site visits may require PPE and the ability to move through industrial and construction environments. Must occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
Travel is expected and varies by program phase, estimated at 25–40% to CDM's manufacturing facility, customer sites, and project locations across North America. Valid driver's license in good standing required.
$125,000 - $175,000 USD
