Job summary

Specialized Component Parts (SCP) designs and manufactures high-performance components for OEMs in the appliance, HVAC, and gas combustion industries. This Quality Manager role leads the Quality Management System and drives improvements across manufacturing, suppliers, and new product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
• 7–10 years of manufacturing quality experience.
• 3+ years of quality leadership experience.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
• Experience working directly with OEM customers and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP systems; Minitab experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Lead internal, customer, supplier, and registrar audits.
• Own CAPA, document control, management review, calibration, and risk management.
• Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection and testing.
• Drive improvements using SPC, MSA, Gage R&R, Cp/Cpk, Lean, and Six Sigma.
• Lead supplier quality activities, including supplier audits, development, scorecards, and PPAP approvals.
• Support new product launches through APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and Inspection Plans.
