Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis, LLC (MD&A) in Euclid, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing operations. You will ensure machined parts and assemblies meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards through in-process, layout, and final inspections.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing quality inspection, strong blueprint reading skills, and proficiency with precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years manufacturing quality inspection experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Experience with in-process and final inspections on machined components.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges).
• Lean manufacturing and 6S understanding.
• Strong documentation skills and good computer skills.
• GD&T knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined parts per drawings and specifications.
• Read blueprints and engineering documentation.
• Perform in-process, layout, and final inspections; First Article/First Run where applicable.
• Measure dimensions and tolerances with precision tools.
• Maintain inspection reports and NCRs; document quality issues.
• Communicate quality concerns with production and management teams.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment; assist other shop operations.
