DDN is seeking a Senior Quality Inspector to perform advanced inspections of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic components, subassemblies, and final assemblies to ensure compliance with DDN’s quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a high-tech or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using mechanical inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality standards.
• Familiarity with ERP and quality systems (e.g., Oracle, Propel).
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform in-process, incoming, and final inspections with calipers, micrometers, and meters.
• Interpret complex mechanical drawings, schematics, specifications, and industry standards (IPC-A-610, ANSI/ASME Y14.5).
• Document inspection results and non-conformances in quality systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing on FAI, NPI, and production validation.
• Inspect components from suppliers and communicate quality issues for disposition.
• Participate in RCCA processes.
• Assist in training junior inspectors and operators on inspection standards.
• Maintain inspection reports, calibration logs, and quality metrics.
• Ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance where applicable.
• Uphold continuous improvement and proactive quality management.
