Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Quality Inspector in the California area to inspect machined parts and assemblies for conformance to drawings and quality standards. You will develop CALYPSO CMM programs, document results, and create NCRs when defects are found.

The role requires 2–3 years in a QC/Inspector capacity, strong GD&T knowledge, and experience with precision metrology. Hybrid on-site and remote work options are available in the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of dimensional inspection, GD&T, and quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Experience with CMMs and precision measuring tools.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain inspection records.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of machined parts and assemblies for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Develop and run ZEISS CALYPSO CMM programs and validate measurements.
• Create NCRs and document inspection results; support resolution of quality issues.
