Qualifications

  • 5+ years of inspection experience in a documented quality management system (QMS).
  • Experience using standard precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications, standards and quality requirements.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Quality certifications highly preferred.
  • Experience with First Article Inspection required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and measurement inspections.
  • Review drawings, engineering requirements, work instructions, and quality procedures.
  • Complete inspection reports, logs, quality records, and tracking spreadsheets.
  • Identify and document nonconforming products.
  • Support corrective actions and confirm rework has been completed properly.
  • Communicate quality issues with production, supervisors, and internal teams.
  • Help maintain tracking for vendors, calibrated tools, and inspection records.
  • Assist with internal and external quality audits.
  • Train and support production employees on quality expectations.

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with an established manufacturerthat is hiring a Senior Quality Inspector to inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.

This is a strong fit for someone with hands‑on inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and a background working in a quality-controlled manufacturing environment. The right candidate should be comfortable reading drawings, using precision measuring tools, documenting inspection results, and supporting first article inspections.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and measurement inspections.
  • Review drawings, engineering requirements, work instructions, and quality procedures.
  • Complete inspection reports, logs, quality records, and tracking spreadsheets.
