Qualifications

  • At least 3 years in health care with a minimum of 2 years supporting quality improvement initiatives.
  • Registered Nurse (RN). License must be active and unrestricted in state of practice.
  • Quality auditing, peer review, and process improvement experience.
  • Knowledge of HEDIS and NCQA.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical-thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-collaboratively in a highly matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provides project, program, and/or initiative related guidance within the quality department and collaborates with other departments.
  • Implements quality strategies requiring near real-time clinical decision-making and supports related interventions.
  • Monitors timely completion of quality activities and presents results to leadership.
  • Writes narrative reports to interpret regulatory specifications and document program results.
  • Creates and maintains documentation for critical quality improvement functions.
  • Leads quality improvement meetings and collaborates with other departments.
