Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a senior Quality Engineer to lead all aspects of the Quality Engineering discipline on-site in Haltom City, TX. You will drive continuous improvement, manage corrective actions, and ensure strict adherence to quality standards throughout design, assembly, and delivery.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s with 6+ years of aerospace experience, RCCA expertise, and proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, Excel, and SAP. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.
• Advanced to expert RCCA knowledge.
• Lean Six Sigma experience.
• Proficient in Excel and SAP.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Data mining and analysis of large datasets.
• Experience presenting to diverse audiences.
• Background in project planning, management, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical lead for all facets of the Quality Engineering discipline.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage Quality Engineering responsibilities across all stages from design to delivery.
• Oversee Corrective Action Plans for SRR reduction, customer escapes, and audits.
• Provide guidance on quality standards, specifications, and processes.
• Develop and maintain quality work instructions, inspection guides, and control plans.
• Use Root Cause Analysis tools to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve engineering and manufacturing changes impacting quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout product lifecycle.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources to support decisions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce defects and improve key metrics.
• Lead RCCA investigations and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to new products, processes, or standards for business strategy.
• Drive significant improvements in processes, systems, or products.
• Promote risk identification and mitigation within the team.
• Continuously improve relevant skills and certifications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
