Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Quality Engineer / Sr. Principal Quality Engineer in Apopka, FL to support the Quality and Mission Assurance team. You will develop and maintain quality controls, partner with engineering and manufacturing, and lead audits to ensure process improvement and product compliance.

The role requires strong technical communication, teamwork, and hands-on QA methods across design, material and production stages, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 5+ years of QA/engineering experience, investigating failures and root causes.
• MS in STEM with 3+ years QA/engineering experience.
• 1+ year QA/engineering experience with a Master's Degree in STEM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols for processing materials into finished products.
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing to establish and uphold quality standards.
• Design, analyze, and implement inspection and testing processes and equipment; conduct quality assurance tests and statistical analyses.
