Job summary

Apple is seeking a senior Quality Engineer to own quality across demo delivery pipelines for Apple Stores worldwide. You will design automated coverage across OS-regression cycles, production and delivery pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust quality practices for major releases.

The role requires strong Python/Swift skills, hands-on experience with end-to-end test automation, and deep knowledge of Apple platforms and deployment lifecycles.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software quality engineering, test automation, or software development.
• Demonstrated leadership defining quality strategy for multiple systems or release pipelines.
• Experience mentoring QA engineers on automation and build-pipeline literacy.
• Proficient in Python and Swift; improve legacy code and drive fixes with teams.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end test automation frameworks; strong manual testing.
• Experience validating across iOS/iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS; understanding of deployment and release practices.
• Skilled at testing on physical and virtual Apple hardware.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Own quality across demo delivery pipelines to Apple Stores worldwide.
• Design and drive automated coverage across OS-regression cycles, production and delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align tooling, testing, and reporting standards.
• Provide risk-based test design, triage issues and root-cause failures spanning multiple layers.
• Make go/no-go quality decisions and define release strategies with rollback plans.
