Job summary

Unigen seeks a Senior Quality Engineer in Newark, CA to develop, implement, and maintain quality plans for products through manufacturing and post-production.

You will drive root cause analysis, manage supplier QA, perform internal audits, and lead the development of FMEA, SPC/SQC, and QMS improvements across ISO 9001, 13485, and 14001 frameworks. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in Quality Engineering in PCBA/EMS environment.
• Experience in ISO 9001 environments.
• IPC-610 and J-STD 001 certified personnel.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality issue resolution with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Develop and implement QA plans, incoming inspections, and test methods.
• Lead internal audits and report to management.
• Develop PFMEA, DFMEA, SPC/SQC, and MSA to monitor quality.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on vendor qualification and audits.
