Job summary

Vaupell Industrial is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Everett, WA to lead quality assurance initiatives and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and development teams.

You will collaborate with design, production, and supply chain to identify quality issues early and implement corrective actions, while guiding root-cause investigations and CAPA processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within manufacturing or product development.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, FMEA).
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality considerations early in product development and production.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and data analysis to monitor product quality and process performance.
• Train and mentor junior quality engineers and other team members on quality standards and best practices.
• Manage documentation related to quality control, including quality plans, inspection reports, and compliance records.
• Support supplier quality management by evaluating supplier performance and driving improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
