Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer – Coatings & Bonding to lead quality efforts in automotive coating, sealing, e-coat, and bonding processes.

You will serve as the technical authority, develop control plans, and drive validation and continued improvement across plant operations. The role emphasizes跨-functional collaboration, complex problem solving, and ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, AIAG, and internal quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with substantial experience in coatings and bonding.
• Experience applying IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP in automotive contexts.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical quality authority for coating, sealing, e-coat, and bonding processes across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain control plans and quality standards for coatings and bonded structures.
• Lead validation activities for adhesives, coatings, cure cycles, and durability requirements.
• Support plant and product launches, including testing methods and process capability targets.
• Drive corrective actions and preventive actions for coating/bonding issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Product Development teams.
• Manage supplier quality expectations for coatings, sealants, and adhesives.
• Conduct process audits and ensure adherence to IATF 16949 and AIAG standards.
