Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Quality Engineering experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates new product development activities and conducts project review meetings.
• Provides technical leadership and direction to design engineering.
• Works with Design Engineering in developing necessary documentation.
• Support PSW and Prototype builds.
• Establish production feasibility of designs with vendors.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Responsible for all APQP document submissions to the customer.

Skills

Knowledge of GD&T and ANSI standards

Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods, tools, and techniques

Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Knowledgeable of Control Plans, DOE, GD&T, PFMEA, DFMEA, DVP&R and ECM

Excellent verbal, technical writing, interpersonal and organizational skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
