Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Lafayette, IN is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer 4 to support critical manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include developing APQP documentation, leading quality meetings, and ensuring compliance with quality standards for capital investment projects. Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to facilitate and create all APQP elements (Process Flow, Control Plan, PFMEA).
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate new elements of APQP, including process FMEAs, control plans, and process flow diagrams.
• Lead quality readiness meetings with manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Support and track recommended actions from process FMEAs and capability studies.
• Review and develop process capability studies and measurement systems analyses.
• Create final production part approval documentation (PPAP) and present updates to stakeholders.
