Job summary

AUTOKINITON in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Quality professional to drive supplier development and quality systems, ensuring ISO-9001:2015 and ISO-17025:2017 compliance.

You will lead PPAP activities, audits, and corrective actions, collaborate across departments, mentor technicians, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This is a full-time role reporting to the Quality Manager with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding ISO-9001:2015, ISO-17025:2017, and ISO-14001 procedures.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with PPAP, audits, and corrective actions.
• Ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct meetings with customers, suppliers, and in-plant personnel.
• Serve as main contact for external customer concerns and drive corrective actions.
• Support APS and APQP documentation processes including PFMEA, Process Flow, and Control Plans.
• Lead quality project initiatives and drive prevention of defects.
• Prepare and track deviations, containment, and preventive actions.
