Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in West Caldwell, NJ is seeking a Quality Engineer III to join our team. The role focuses on controlling and monitoring quality to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

You will lead root-cause analyses, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with engineering, production, and suppliers in a highly regulated aerospace environment. Candidates should have 4+ years of aerospace quality experience and a BS, with knowledge of AS9100, ISO

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace manufacturing.
• Familiar with AS9100, ISO 9001, MIL-STD standards.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• BA or BS in Quality or Engineering field; ITAR eligibility.
• Ability to work in controlled data environments (US Persons).

Responsibilities

• Lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Interpret drawings, specs, ICDs within controlled environments.
• Interface with engineering, production, suppliers and customers.
• Manage quality in audits and production decisions.
• Apply data-driven problem solving and structured quality methodologies.
