Job summary

A precision manufacturing organization in San Francisco is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality on the production floor. The role requires a minimum of 4 years in a similar position, with a solid grasp of quality control methodologies. Qualifications

What You’ll Do:
  • Ensure product quality by proactively establishing and maintaining quality requirements and controls on the production floor
  • Conduct root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations for non-conformances and implement improvements
  • Utilize and continuously improve Inland’s Quality Management System (QMS) to support defect reduction and process control
  • Collaborate with customers and vendors to address quality-related issues and maintain strong partnerships
  • Execute various quality engineering tasks as assigned by the Quality Engineering Manager
What You Bring:
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar quality engineering role, preferably in semiconductor or aerospace manufacturing
  • Solid understanding of quality control methodologies including PPAP, 8D, 5-Why, and Statistical Quality Control (SQC)
  • Familiarity with metal manufacturing processes such as punching, forming, welding, machining, and assembly
  • Proficiency with basic SolidWorks and advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills aligned with a fast-paced, high-demand manufacturing culture
