Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior QA engineer to automate tests across backend, UI and API, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape robust test plans and ensure stakeholder feedback is incorporated.

You will own the automation framework, advance CI/CD practices with Jenkins and GitLab CI, and ensure quality for cloud-based and client/server products using Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development practices (Scrum) and tools.
• 7+ years of experience with Java or C# and OO programming principles.
• 3-5 years of Python experience with testing frameworks and automation.
• 5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript in test automation.
• Proficient in CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Expert in API testing and performance testing tools.
• Proficient in database concepts and SQL testing.
• Experience with web testing tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor, etc.
• Experience with SCM like Git and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong scripting and programming skills (PowerShell, Python, Java).
• Experience testing front-end, back-end and API in cloud-based/client-server products.
• 10+ years of professional software testing desired.
• Knowledge of QA processes, procedures, and standards.

• Master in CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Expert with API testing and performance testing tools.
• Expertise in Database concepts and testing using SQL.
• Performance & functional test automation experience.
• Experience with web-based testing tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor, etc.
• Experience in SCM like Git, CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
