Job summary

This role partners with production to eliminate non-conformances, scrap, and rework, owns supplier quality at key sub-tiers, and mentors teams on 8D, 5-Why, and DMAIC, presenting monthly data to leadership.

Qualifications

• BS in an Engineering discipline and 3+ years, degree preferred; OR no degree and 8+ years' applicable experience
• Hands-on background in assembly-based manufacturing
• Proficiency with GD&T, FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, calibration
• Strong root cause analysis skills – 5-Why, fishbone, 8D

Growing manufacturer of advanced products serving the medical device, defense and semiconductor industries seeks an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to own product quality in an assembly-based environment where quality is a competitive differentiator — not an afterthought.
