Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation is actively seeking an experienced Project Quality Control Manager to lead quality management on megaprojects in the heavy civil sector. You will oversee QA/QC planning, testing, inspections, and documentation from pre-construction through completion.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors, enforcing safety policies, and ensuring compliance with contract documents, drawings, and calculations.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering or construction management degree required.
• Experience in construction quality control management (min 2 years).
• Understanding of construction industry practices, supervision, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies and promote Safety first value.
• Serve as subject-matter expert for all project quality management functions.
• Provide input for construction planning, design interpretation, and quality controls for execution.
• Manage quality testing, inspections, and documentation, including third-party services.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation per contract, drawings, and calculations.
• Develop and implement project Quality Control Plans and conduct periodic audits.
• Oversee project submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Lead RFI process to ensure timely responses and close-out.
