Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Quality Inspector in Richmond, CA to verify conformance of purchased, in-house, and finished parts by reviewing prints and developing inspection plans. The role emphasizes attention to detail and precise documentation.

You will determine inspection tools, perform first article inspections, write clear reports, and coordinate with the QC team to ensure ISO-compliant processes and timely deliverables while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in advanced mechanical inspection of complex machined parts and performing first article inspections & reports.
• Able to read, understand, analyze, and interpret written information.
• Able to write clear informative reports, including work instructions.
• Able to effectively communicate with all levels of individuals in a variety of situations.
• Able to remember assigned tasks & due dates, strings of numbers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Verify conformance of purchased, in-house, and finished goods by reviewing part prints and developing inspection plans.
• Determine tools necessary to inspect parts per part print, specifications and test plan.
• Complete inspections per part print, specifications and test plan.
• Conduct visual verifications of parts per specifications.
• Document measurements in a test record and outline non-conformities in a formal failure report.
• Perform manufacturing process audits to ensure ISO conformance and verify controls are in place.
• Coordinate daily with other inspectors to ensure on-time QC tasks.
• Adhere to safety requirements and participate in process improvement.
