Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging is seeking a Quality Program Leader to develop and support the quality program across plants, ensuring alignment with corporate goals. You will drive improvements, train staff, and oversee audits and regulatory documentation.

The role requires 5–7 years of quality management experience (or 15+ years without a degree), Lean/Six Sigma training, and strong manufacturing process knowledge. The position is based in Illinois with competitive base salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or related field, or 15+ years of experience in absence of a degree.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma training.
• Industry experience – minimum 5 years.
• Strong technical aptitude for manufacturing processes.
• Advanced statistical capabilities.
• SQF certification.
• Documentation organization and administration.

Responsibilities

• Plant Support for quality program and improvements.
• Support internal customers through enhanced quality program focus.
• Provide service and support for quality systems, GMP/Housekeeping, audits and procedural compliance.
• Provide quality training and support to employees at all levels.
• Assist with problem solving and implementation of quality improvements.
• Refine and improve Corporate and Plant Quality procedures to meet strategic needs.
• Ensure compliance and assist with audits; support quality strategy at sites.
• Lead quality events at manufacturing locations when requested.
• Maintain procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation for compliance.
• Build accountability and promote quality culture across departments.
• Liaise between plants and corporate to ensure alignment.
• Enter data into customers' required systems or portals.
• Customer/Supplier audit, specification and documentation support.
• Review customer/supplier contract language for quality and technical capability.
• Regulatory documentation assembly, storage, revision and distribution to customers annually and as requested.
• Interface with Legal and R&D on documentation and regulatory requirements.
