Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of QA/testing experience in data platforms.
• Strong expertise in data warehouse, ETL/ELT testing and cloud services.
• Experience validating complex data pipelines and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies for cloud-based data platforms.
• Perform end-to-end testing of ETL/ELT data pipelines built using DBT, Snowflake, Airflow, and AWS services.
• Validate data transformations, business rules, and data models within DBT.
• Conduct source-to-target data validation, reconciliation, and data quality testing.
• Automation frameworks using Python.
• Test and validate Airflow DAGs, workflow dependencies, scheduling, and orchestration processes.
• Perform backend and database testing using advanced SQL queries in Snowflake.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure data integrity and completeness.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Generate test execution reports, quality metrics, and risk assessments.
