Job summary

Yulista is seeking a Senior Quality Control Analyst to support QA/QC activities, audits, and process improvements for C-130 aircraft maintenance programs. The role ensures compliance with AS9100 and government requirements, coordinating with customers and QA staff.

The incumbent will perform inspections, monitor IMDS documentation, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions. A DoD secret clearance and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Four years of C130 military aircraft maintenance experience.
  • C-130 All System Red X Qualified; C-130 Exceptional/Conditional Release Qualified.
  • Three years’ experience in the role as Quality Engineer/Analyst/Assurance or Inspector.
  • Familiar with IMDS and related QA tooling.
  • Understanding of AS9100 and Quality Management Systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Sustain project Quality Plan, Monthly reports, and trend analysis.
  • Conduct process/product/special/additive maintenance/audit and FOD inspections.
  • Perform Key Task Listing (KTL) inspections.
  • Inspect electrical, avionics, hydraulic, and other aircraft systems on C-130.
  • Monitor and validate IMDS entries for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate and support QA activities with customers and QA Engineers.
  • Generate and track Corrective Action Requests and root-cause analyses.
  • Assist with certification visits and government inspections.

Y-Tech Services Inc Regular PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Quality Control Analyst Senior supports all quality assurance and quality control activities while ensuring safety of aircraft and airworthiness requirements through various maintenance and engineering quality assurance auditing and process improvement programs. Responsible for evaluating internal controls and ensuring processes are acceptable, effective and in compliance with company policies/procedures, Quality Management System requirements, and Customer/Government requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Sustain project Quality Plan/Monthly reports/trend analysis.
  • Conduct process/product/special/additive maintenance/tool and FOD audits.
  • Perform Key Task Listing (KTL) inspections.
  • Inspect electrical, avionics, hydraulic, power plant, flight control, pneumatic, fuels, emergency systems, structural repairs on sub-assemblies or major assemblies on all C-130 aircraft.
  • Monitor and screen aircraft maintenance (AFTO 781 series) forms documentation entries and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) for accuracy and completeness.
  • Impoundment/FCF/Debrief Functions.
  • Flight line maintenance/launch/recovery operations surveillance.
  • Customer and QAE interface.
  • Quality Control Verifications (QCV).
  • Safety of flight inspections for Red X conditions documentation.
  • Performs in-process inspections.
  • Investigate aircraft incidents/lost tools.
  • Generate and follow up on Corrective Action Requests and Root Cause and Corrective Actions.
  • Technical Assistance Request (TAR)/Local Engineering Assist (LEAR).
  • Coordinate/Validate local manufactured parts/tooling.
  • Review USAF Policy/Tech Data changes/alpha page inspections.
  • Validate/process QAE Performance Assessment reports.
  • Pre-closure inspection.
  • Process improvement/Configuration management initiatives.
  • Research/complete Air Force form 22 changes for Tech Data.
  • Coordinate and support NQA and Government Flight Representative certification/validation visits.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities for this role.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

AS9100 Internal Auditor Trained Aircraft Weight and Balance Certification Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Quality Management Bachelor’s Degree highly desired

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Four (4) years of C130 military aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Previous C-130 All System Red X Qualified; C-130 Exceptional/Conditional Release Qualified.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in the role as Quality Engineer/Analyst/Assurance or Inspector.
  • Familiar with Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).
  • Interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and use test measurement and calibrated tools.
  • Possess excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with company management and customers, regarding quality issues and concerns.
  • Understand Microsoft Office applications to include Email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum.
  • Willing to work any shift and weekends as required.
  • Understanding of AS9100 and Quality Management Systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security clearance
