Job summary

Synstack Technologies in Hillsboro, OR seeks a QNX/Android Software Developer with strong embedded C++ expertise. You will develop, integrate, and maintain platform software, drivers, and multimedia components on Qualcomm-based systems.

Responsibilities include bring-up on Snapdragon platforms, Android framework work, and CI/CD integration using Docker. Familiarity with QNX Momentics, ADB, and Linux device drivers is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related discipline.
• Strong C/C++ programming experience and embedded systems background.
• Experience with QNX/Linux platform development and Android Automotive is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for QNX, Linux, and Android platforms.
• Design and implement platform services, middleware, and embedded applications using C/C++.
• Develop Linux device drivers and hardware interfaces.
• Work on Qualcomm Snapdragon-based platforms including bring-up and integration.
• Develop Android native and framework-level components.
• Support multimedia applications and platform development across layers.
• Debug, optimize performance, and resolve issues with hardware and software.
• Collaborate with DevOps, automation, and validation teams for CI/CD.
• Use Docker and virtualized environments for development and testing.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and releases.
• Support AI-assisted software development practices.
