Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a quality control technician responsible for sampling, testing, and inspecting construction materials in laboratory or field settings to ensure compliance with project specifications. This role supports safe, reliable project delivery.

We require 4+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with basic computer skills and Excel. A valid driver's license is also required.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect products at various production stages and evaluate data.
• Obtain and maintain certifications as required for testing.
• Interpret specifications and communicate with crew and inspection staff.
• Interpret engineering drawings to ensure work follows plans.
• Maintain QC log books and reports per specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow OSHA policies.
