Job summary

Recipharm Advanced Bio in Boston, MA seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Quality Control (QC) Microbiology to lead QC microbiology activities across programs and manufacturing operations, ensuring testing is accurate, efficient, and compliant with GMP, procedures, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.

The Senior Manager will partner with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Analytical Development, Process Development, Validation, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, and Project Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field required.
• Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day QC Microbiology operations for multiple programs.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental monitoring.
• Ensure GMP compliance, data integrity, and timely lab results.
• Lead investigations (OOS/OOT/deviations) and support CAPAs and change controls.
• Provide technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration across departments.
