Job summary

Hydrafacial in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Sr Quality Control Inspector to perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products, ensuring adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements. You will conduct root cause analyses, document nonconformances and corrective actions, and mentor junior inspectors to help build a robust inspection capability within our QMS.

This role requires excellent attention to detail, cross-functional collaboration, and familiarity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of quality control inspection experience in medical device manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures, standards, and methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with nonconformance reports and corrective action documentation.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, cGMP and 21 CFR Part 820.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot quality issues; identify and implement corrective actions.
• Document inspection results, nonconformances and corrective actions with detailed quality records.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to improve production efficiency and reduce defects.
• Collaborate with production managers and engineers to address quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Train and mentor junior quality control inspectors to ensure consistency and proficiency.
• Stay current on industry standards and best practices in quality control and apply them effectively.
