Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a quality control analyst to ensure the quality and compliance of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples. The role involves preparing solutions, running analyses with HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and reporting results under GMP guidelines.

You will work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment, using Empower and SAP, and contribute to continuous improvement of QC processes while maintaining meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• 6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory.
• Advanced cGMP requirements for all data generated by the QC laboratory.
• Laboratory skills including physical testing, HPLC analysis, GC analysis, Impurity analysis, UV-Vis, FTIR, Malvern, and Empower as applicable to the work group assigned.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Executes method transfer/ validation activities following protocol.
• Performs process validation testing. Cleaning verification testing following protocols as required.
• Update departmental SOPs.
• Advanced SME knowledge fundamental laboratory techniques and analytical instruments
• Ability to cross- train staff on equipment/lab techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and compliance of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples by performing laboratory analytical testing.
• Prepare solutions and reagents for testing.
• Use analytical equipment such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV and IR; work independently or with supervisor to accomplish tasks.
• Troubleshoot analytical instruments and ensure adherence to GMP policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to meet scheduling and testing priorities.
