Job summary

Bimeda, Inc. is seeking a QC Analyst II to support analytical testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products, and stability samples. You will operate HPLC, GC, UV and other instruments, document results, and ensure adherence to GMP/GLP and SOPs.

The role includes preparing samples, reviewing data, assisting with investigations, and training junior staff in a collaborative setting. A BSc in chemistry or biochemistry and 2–4 years of pharma QC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in a Pharmaceutical Analytical testing lab & supporting stability programs
• B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline
• Analytical Wet Chemistry Lab experience using titration, pH, Potency, Conductivity, Viscosity, TOC, UV, IR, GC, HPLC assays
• High integrity, excellent attention to detail, analytical thinker, ability to organize and prioritize, work in team environment and individually, and take initiative
• Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising and communicating with internal departments and external vendors

Responsibilities

• Conducts all analytical (physical & chemical) testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, gases, water, and stability program samples.
• Reviews data, results, and documentation for QC analytical testing.
• Ensures compliance with GMP/GLP, SOPs, and Safety policies.
• Prepares samples for analysis according to SOPs and compendia (USP/EP).
• Performs tests using HPLC, GC, UV, IR, FTIR, KF and other instruments.
• Documents results in logbooks and production dockets.
• Analyzes data and informs supervisor of discrepancies or unusual trends.
• Assists with quality investigations as required.
• Maintains reagents and supplies; procures as needed.
• Performs calibration of equipment and coordinates repairs with vendors.
• Trains and guides junior Analysts and Technicians.
• Keeps work areas clean and glassware cleaned as required.
