Qualifications

8 years of software quality assurance and testing experience.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar tools.
Experience testing web, desktop, API, and enterprise software across platforms.
Knowledge of SQL, databases, and data validation techniques.
Experience with test automation frameworks and automated testing tools.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to assess software quality and performance against defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.
Design and execute test scenarios, requirements traceability matrices (RTM), and test cases; develop and maintain test plans based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Develop, maintain, and automate test scripts and testing processes where appropriate.
Identify, analyze, document, and track defects and issues that deviate from approved requirements and design specifications.
Record test results and communicate defect status and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance best practices, organizational standards, and industry standards.
Maintain test environments and test data required for test execution.
Perform impact analysis and risk assessments to support release readiness decisions.
Track and report quality metrics, including defect density, defect trends, and open defect counts.
Recommend and implement continuous improvements to testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior QA team members.
