Job summary

Electronic Arts in Orlando is seeking a Sr. QA Tester to join the embedded Game Team. You will define and execute the test strategy, collaborating with producers, engineers, artists, and designers to ensure quality and test coverage across the product.

The position is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days per week in the Orlando office. A strong QA background, testing methodologies, and a passion for American Football will help you succeed in this 12-month contract role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent industry experience in an embedded environment.
• Experience with testing and defect tracking software, preferably Jira.
• Experience writing test documentation including test cases, test plans, etc.
• Experience with different gaming platforms.
• Understanding of white/gray/black box testing practices.
• Knowledge of software development methodology and stages (milestones/sprints, Alpha, Beta).
• Strong knowledge of American Football.

Responsibilities

• Build working relationships with development, production, and design teams to find bugs and improve quality.
• Consider the game from a player's perspective to improve the player experience.
• Good English language skills are necessary to communicate testing progress and status to managers and other team members.
• Use a Player First approach and be the voice of quality.
