Job summary

Reliance One is seeking a Software Test Analyst 5 for a hybrid contract in Lansing, Michigan. The role focuses on QA, software testing, test automation, and enterprise applications, with responsibilities across planning, execution, and defect management.

The candidate will work with developers and business stakeholders to validate fixes, perform data validation with SQL, and support deployment and production validation activities. Strong communication and detail orientation are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT QA, software testing, or systems analysis.
• 5+ years developing and executing test cases.
• 5+ years identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios from requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Create automated test banks and repeatable automated regression testing.
• Develop testing metrics and evaluate coverage against requirements.
• Review requirements to identify gaps and risks to quality.
• Identify and track defects through resolution with stakeholders.
