Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a quality-focused professional for our Main Plant facility in Lincoln, NE. The role involves evaluating defects, ensuring conformance to drawings and specifications, and interfacing with internal and external customers and peers to maintain high manufacturing standards.

Proficiency with CMM measurement systems (PC-DMIS), GD&T, and experience with CMMS is preferred.

Qualifications

Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Knowledge, skills & abilities include technical expertise, information-seeking ability, research skills and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Defines and specifies activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for materials, components, or products.
Builds and maintains the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
Identifies and addresses any issues with equipment performance.
Audits, monitors, and determines the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards.
Reports and troubleshoots manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods
Conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
