Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Hayward, CA is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead inspection and material release activities in a cGMP manufacturing environment.

You will supervise QA Inspectors, ensure regulatory compliance, partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams, and drive continuous improvement in quality metrics. This is a full-time role with strong benefits and career impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Quality, Business, or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience; or 5-7 years of relevant quality experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• 1-2 years of people leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Working knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and quality system requirements.
• Experience supporting quality inspections, material release activities, investigations, or quality assurance operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the inspection, review, and release of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, coach, and develop QA Inspectors, fostering accountability and operational excellence.
• Plan and prioritize team workloads to support production schedules and on-time product release.
• Investigate quality events, nonconformances, corrective actions, and preventive actions to identify root causes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain inspection procedures and quality systems.
