Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. seeks a QA Specialist III - Viral Vector for the second shift in Houston, onsite. You will act as a senior QA representative ensuring CGMP, GDP, ISO, and quality system compliance across viral vector, cell therapy, and related manufacturing operations.

You will lead complex investigations, support real-time decision making, review critical GMP documents, and mentor QA staff while driving continuous improvement and inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in GMP-regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to review GMP docs and records.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality oversight for viral vector and cell therapy manufacturing operations.
• Lead investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
• Review Master Batch Records and GMP documents for accuracy and disposition.
• Mentor and provide informal leadership within the QA team.
