Job summary

Atmos Energy is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to analyze procedures, assess risks, and support regulatory compliance on pipeline safety initiatives. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, tracking data, and helping drive continuous improvement plans.

Strong background in QA, data analysis, and regulatory interpretation is required, with an emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and compliance readiness across enterprise procedures and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field with three years QA or industry experience in operations or regulatory compliance, or GED with five years QA or industry related experience.
• Ability to interact with multiple departments and external stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret federal and state regulations; IIA familiarity is a plus.
• Algebraic, trigonometric, and geometric operations and/or moderately complex statistical and/or accounting methods.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications for creating complex documents, reports, and graphics.

Responsibilities

• Provides analysis and evaluation of procedures, processes, records, risks and related controls for sufficiency and effectiveness.
• Manages, schedules, and conducts panel discussions/interviews with internal stakeholders and reports findings to QA management.
• Collects and tracks data for assessments.
• Identifies gaps and drafts/monitors continuous improvement plans from inception to completion.
• Supports QA for regulatory inspections and compliance activities related to pipeline safety.
