Job summary

Foundation Software is seeking a Sr QA Performance Engineer to assess and enhance performance, scalability, and reliability of our software applications. You will design and execute performance tests, analyze metrics, and work with development and operations to optimize system performance.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in performance testing, strong knowledge of tools like JMeter, Dynatrace, and LoadRunner, and proficiency in test automation scripting with Java, Python, or C#.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Azure Load Testing, Dynatrace, LoadRunner, Gatling.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose performance issues and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Experience scripting in Java, JavaScript, Python or C# for test automation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and integrating performance testing into sprints.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance tests to evaluate system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize performance.
• Utilize performance testing tools to create and execute tests and generate detailed reports.
• Integrate performance testing into development and release cycles and communicate findings to stakeholders.
