Job summary

BETER in the United States is seeking a QA Engineer to join our analytics platform team. You will design and execute test scenarios, perform functional, regression, and non-functional testing, and work closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver stable, high-performing releases.

The role emphasizes testing REST APIs, WebSocket/SignalR, and microservice integrations in a modern .NET/React stack, with opportunities to contribute to automation as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Manual QA experience.
• Experience testing .NET/React applications and microservice architectures.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC and testing methodologies.
• Strong web and API testing skills.
• Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Good understanding of HTTP, cookies, local storage, HTML/CSS.
• Strong Chrome DevTools skills and experience with traffic inspection tools.
• Experience with WebSocket/SignalR testing.
• Experience with NoSQL databases and basic SQL.
• Experience with Jira/YouTrack or similar systems.
• English: Intermediate (B1+) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and ensure their testability.
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, test plans, and test documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and non-functional testing.
• Test browser-based SPA applications and APIs.
• Validate microservice integrations, including REST, Kafka and WebSocket/SignalR communication.
• Report and track defects in Jira.
• Prepare test summary reports before releases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, product and other team members.
• Contribute to UI/API test automation where applicable.
